Career Development Center (CDC) announces workers and/or supervisors in Zakho, Erbil, Duhok, and Sulaymaniyah, that the first round of Cash for Work (CFW) applications in 2022 is now open for registration. Cash for Work activities offers a short-term employment opportunity through the GIZ program “P4E – Prospects for Employment”.
All activities are in the public sector in different areas of work, including, but not limited to: agriculture & environment, education, and health through activities in public parks, plant nurseries, in the field of WASH. In this round, the CFW activities are more diverse than ever before and also target socially vulnerable graduates of universities and institutions with specific qualifications
Therefore, beneficiaries will be selected according to the unique needs of the project for certain areas of expertise such as social researchers, psychiatrists, IT specialists, agriculture engineers. With this initiative, P4E promotes short-term employment for refugees, returnees, internally displaced people (IDPs), and socially vulnerable host communities.
